Coach Les Miles’ 4th annual Golf Weekend

This year, The 4th Annual Golf Weekend was a huge success!!! It was hosted at the L’Auberge Du Lac Hotel & Casino in Lake Charles May 16th and 17th. The event raised over $60,000 to help support our goals in assisting the LSU football program.  The Board of the Tiger Gridiron Club would like to thank Bob Bernhard and everyone who served on his committee for making this event as successful as it was.

What is the Les Miles’ Golf Weekend?

When Les Miles came to LSU he thought it would be a good idea and a lot of fun to host a golf weekend immediately after the spring recruiting period so his coaches could relax, have fun, and meet supporters. He wanted the weekend to be very nice, but he did not want the weekend to be so big that people couldn’t mix and get to see everybody there. For that reason the number of golf teams and the number of guests at the cocktail party and banquet are limited.

Our event is unique in that participants will dine with Coach Miles, another coach, or a special guest at their table. All golf teams will have a football coach or special guest of Coach Miles placed with their team. We will mix and match coaches so that all participants have a better chance to become acquainted.
